Voluntary Volunteers required
Enjoy Island Community Life as a volunteer – (Island Life is Calling)
Orama is a dynamic, stunningly beautiful, residential Christian community based on Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf of Auckland. Orama has a vibrant history of restoring and equipping people for life’s journey. Every year more than 2500 visitors come to enjoy a holiday adventure, a spiritual retreat, or an outdoor training school at Orama. Hillary Outdoors and their staff and clientele form a major client group onsite.
Orama is looking for volunteers – for both short to medium term stays. We have a variety of volunteer roles available that can be tailored to best suit you.
A varied range of work is on offer, from housekeeping to infrastructure/maintenance type work, through to helping in our commercial kitchen.
Food and board are provided in shared accommodation, in return for 30 hours a week volunteering (6 hours a day). If this doesn’t suit, we would be happy to talk with you about other more flexible options that may suit.
How to Apply
If you really want to make a difference, we would love to talk to you about the variety of volunteering roles we have available. So, get in touch now!
