Voluntary Volunteer Team Leader
Film for Change Aotearoa empowers people to deliver on their social missions through film.
Established as a charity in 2014, our core principles are collaboration, innovation, and distribution. We work collaboratively with charities and community groups to make films that are useful for them, and that are challenging and rewarding for our volunteers.
Volunteer Team Leader
Film for Change need a Volunteer Team Leader to recruit and keep track of all our lovely volunteers, and to make sure they’re getting what they want out of volunteering with us. We currently have 50 volunteers on our team, and we are still growing!
The role is voluntary and tasks include: interviewing potential volunteers, volunteer tracking/ database management on google drive, answering emails and meeting with new volunteers, checking in on our volunteers about their wellbeing, capacity and experience, organising social activities for our community, and reporting to and working with the rest of the leadership team.
This position is estimated to take 6-8 hours per week on average, and we ask for a commitment period of at least 6 months. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
If you’re an outgoing, organised people person and you want to meet and look after a whole lot of community-minded filmmakers this is the role for you. Public speaking skills are desirable but this is not a requirement.
