Part-Time Trust Manager
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Trust Manager with New Horizons for Women Trust: Hine Kahukura for an organised and flexible person to provide executive support, research and administrative assistance to our Chair and Board of Trustees. This is a contract for services position for approximately 20 hours a week. The Trust has overall responsiblity for the strategic development and oversight of policies and procedures for the administration of gifted funds in scholarship awards for women in education and research.
This contract for services will suit an organised and very flexible person who will also:
– Have excellent Microsoft Office skills
-Be confident in using online and cloud based applications
-Have general accounting experience with familiarity with Xero accounting software
-Have previous experience working in the not-for-profit environment and an understanding of charities and volunteer organisations
-Have strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage the complex time demands on voluntary board members
-Have excellent business writing, proof-reading and verbal communication skills
-Have the abiity to value diversity understanding, respecting and embracing the uniqueness that results from differences in all people.
-Have integrity, diplomacy, respect, discretion and an understanding of privacy
-Have the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
– And has a friendly, caring and approachable manner with a sense of humour
