Job Description

Life A Plenty Charitable Trust is a group of experienced therapists, educators and professionals with extensive knowledge and expertise across a range of areas, including depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, grief and trauma, business relationships, collaboration and communications. We offer a comprehensive and affordable service across the Bay of Plenty involving women’s retreats, professional development workshops and seminars, and counselling/therapeutic interventions which respond to a diverse range of needs.

We are seeking a competent and experienced person to effectively coordinate and administer various events related to our Women’s Therapeutic Retreats, and Professional Development Seminars and Workshops for health professionals and social service providers within the community.

Key attributes for this role include:

  • Competent professional, with a ‘can do’ attitude and high level of initiative
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to engage and work well in a timely manner with a diverse range of people
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to prioritise across a range of tasks with the time flexibility to manage the busy work periods
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Social Media

The role will comprise an average of 16 hours per week over a 12 month period (48 weeks). There will be a need to flex hours up in the run up to retreats and other events, and reduce hours in other weeks to achieve the 16 hours average. The role can be done primarily from home with the need to attend meetings at The Kollective in Tauranga and in Board Members’ homes approximately once a week.
