Volunteer Kāpiti is focused on strengthening volunteering throughout the Kāpiti Coast. Our specialist recruitment service connects volunteers with a variety of opportunities within Community Organisations.
We are a small, committed, friendly team aiming to continue and expand the success of Volunteer Kāpiti. If you are a “can-do” person who enjoys working with a diversity of people and will be as committed as we are, we would be keen to hear from you.
We are looking for a Service Coordinator who is positive, pro-active and has great attention to detail, to job share with our current Service Coordinator. Your administrative experience, computer literacy and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite will be of great value as you manage our database and engage with our Members. You will also be coordinating and training our very own wonderful volunteers.
This paid role is part-time, involving 10 hours per week – 9.00am to 2.30pm on either Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday (you will need to be available to work during school holidays). Volunteer Kāpiti services the whole of Kāpiti Coast from Paekākāriki to Ōtaki, so you will also need to have your own vehicle and a clean driving licence.
