Part-Time Senior Executive Assistant
Executive Assistant – 20 hours per week (work from home)
General Practice New Zealand (GPNZ):
GPNZ (www.gpnz.org.nz) has 24 Primary Health Organisation members who support general practices and primary care providers to deliver services to more than 4.3 million New Zealanders. Our mahi focuses on working with sector partners to ensure the right advice and support is provided to primary care, maintaining networks of primary care leaders and providing the secretariat for the primary care caucus for the PHO Services Agreement negotiations.
The GPNZ CEO is seeking an executive assistant to support the day to day operations of the organisation, including supporting membership engagement and events.
Reporting to the CEO, this new role will offer variety and flexibility, with the potential to develop as the organisation changes in line with the health system reforms. The successful candidate will be agile, resourceful and keen to make a difference.
The GPNZ team is small, with a whanau-type environment that thrives on connection. We highly value the Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles of active protection, equity, options, Tino Rangatiratanga and partnership.
Key functions include:
- Meeting and event organisation, including minute-taking
- Management of CEO’s diary and email
- Invoice processing and reconciliation
- Stakeholder engagement, responding to urgent requests
The role is permanent work from home (WFH) role with flexible hours and all relevant equipment and support provided.
