Contract Research and Training Facilitator

ECPAT Child Alert is a small dynamic charitable organisation committed to working collaboratively to make real change for tamariki and rangatahi at risk of, and experiencing, commercial sexual exploitation in New Zealand.
The role of Research and Training Facilitator is a part-time contract role for 20 hrs per week for an initial period of 3 months. The successful applicant will be based in the South Island and will be available to travel to workshop locations.
Reporting to the Engagement Manager, the Research and Training Facilitator will use their existing networks within social sector to schedule and facilitate our popular workshops to frontline workers on ending the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). Workshops will also be used for the collection of survey data on the prevalence of CSEC in Aotearoa.
We are seeking someone with:
- Graduate level education in an area relevant to CSEC (eg social work, psychology, human rights, public health);
- Facilitation skills, knowledge and experience;
- Great relationship and communication skills;
- Demonstrated cultural competency with a priority for Te Ao Māori;
- Knowledge and understanding of CSEC in NZ society;
- Frontline social work experience in New Zealand would be viewed incredibly favourably
