Full-Time Community Programme Facilitator

GirlGuiding New Zealand is in the exciting position of being able to build a team of go-getters to take advantage of the increased demand in the Auckland market. GirlGuiding NZ enables girls and young women to develop into confident, adventurous and empowered members of their community. What we offer has never been more relevant than now.
We are seeking someone who loves what GirlGuiding stands for and can play a key part in co-ordinating an exciting programme of pop up events and activities and who would love the opportunity to really influence how girls in the local communities can be themselves and reach their potential.
You will be someone special who can make Guiding experiences available to more girls. To be successful you will have experience working with groups of young people, as well as with the volunteers who will be co-ordinating and delivering programme opportunities on a range of topics.
You will be comfortable working with a range of external organisations and ensuring opportunities are tailored to meet the needs of local communities. The successful applicant will also need a high level of experience in engaging community participation, event planning and management skills.
Your well-honed planning skills and ability to work with a range of volunteers or supporters will be key to our success.
If you have a strong focus on achieving quality outcomes together with the ability to gain insight into the needs of today’s girls in their communities then you could be just the person we need!
This position is full time and requires some flexibility with hours. It is based at our Mt Eden office in Auckland. Ideally the successful applicant will have an understanding of volunteer based organisations.
