Full-Time National Director
TSCF is seeking to appoint a National Director to further the work of the gospel on campuses around New Zealand. We invite applications from Christian leaders who feel called to serve students, lead a team of around 30 staff who support student-led groups, and partner with churches and other Christian organisations.
The National Director will have the vision to build on the movement’s growth and provide strategic direction as we move forward. This is a vital ministry that takes the gospel to the students of New Zealand and beyond. It has seen significant growth over the past 10 years under the leadership of Nigel Pollock.
The new National Director will have the ability to carry this growth forward and the vision to develop a greater connection with Māori and Pacifika students. We believe this is an exciting prospect and provides an opportunity for genuine Christian leadership.
Preferably, applicants should have completed theological training, be skilled teachers, proven disciple-makers, and able to winsomely apply Scripture to life and culture.
The role also involves being the public face of TSCF. There is an emphasis on raising funds for TSCF and for the role of National Director, both through established channels and through exploring new ones. Prior experience of fundraising is desirable.
TSCF has been equipping students to know and share the gospel since 1936. It is a founding member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), and has close partnerships with several of the IFES student-led ministries worldwide.
Our vision is to help thousands of students become servant leaders of character through the transforming gospel of Christ. Read more about what we believe online.
The position is based at the TSCF Wellington office ideally with a starting date in September 2018. Applications close 5pm 4 July 2018.
