Job Description

Volunteering for Save the Children
This is an opportunity for a volunteer to learn valuable skills while supporting the promotions and marketing of Save the Children owned events and third-party events.
Under the guidance of experienced staff, you will receive industry exposure to SCNZ’s Marketing and Events.
The volunteer will support:
• The Fundraising Partnerships Manager to promote events to the public
• The communication management of event queries over the phone and online
• Content creation for social media and follow up communications
• The distribution of collateral, and engagement with the public as needed

Time Commitment Required

SCNZ strive to make this a great incremental learning opportunity and provide a variety of interesting tasks, feedback and support to ensure that the volunteers experience and involvement with Save the Children is fulfilling. To support the preparation of our events from beginning to end we ask our volunteer to commit to:
2 – 3 days week from July – September
