Full-Time Kaiwhakahaere Kiripaepae – Administrative Receptionist
Community Law Wellington & Hutt Valley is a registered charity, providing free legal advice and information for those in our community with unmet legal needs. We have 2 offices, one in Lower Hutt and one in Wellington City, and this position will be based at our Wellington office on Willis Street. It is a full-time, permanent role, paying $23.25 an hour at 35 hours per week.
The Kaiwhakahaere Kiripaepae is primarily reception-based. This is crucial work, as our clients and other manuhiri deserve to be met with kindness, helpfulness, and respect, whether they contact us over the phone, via email, or come in person. The Kaiwhakahaere Kiripaepae has large responsibility in this area as the first point of contact.
The role also includes other administrative responsibilities, such as data entry, and specific administrative assistance provided to the Restorative Justice team, and the Operations team.
We are primarily interested in your raw skills and character, your commitment to our cause, and your ability to learn. However the successful candidate will benefit from administrative experience, knowledge of te reo me ona tikanga, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
