Te tūnga | The role

In this permanent role, you will report to the Manager Insights within Collection Operation to support the day-to-day leadership of the QA and User Experience team. You will also:

  • Provide quality assurance for cross-functional data gathering process and methods and technical leadership
  • Provide strong leadership and capability building to your team
  • Lead day to day operations
  • Facilitate effective communication with all internal & external key stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for the health, safety, and wellbeing management of your team
  • Demonstrate as a model public servant committed to the initiatives and values outlined in the Public Service Act 2020

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/ or equivalent relevant experience for this role
  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience leading an effective operational team, ideally for a similar sized organisation or in a similar role.
  • Experience in quality assurance and/or complaint management
  • Demonstrated ability to apply continuous improvement frameworks to existing systems and processes, self-motivated and keen to develop new skills
  • A passion for building and coaching high performing, diverse teams
  • Experience fostering and developing trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Strong organisational skills
