Full-Time Executive Coordinator
Become the Executive Coordinator to VSA’s new Te Tumu Whakarae (CEO), and work alongside them, our management team and VSA’s board to support our development work.

Te āhua o Te Tūrunga – The nature of the position
This role provides executive administrative support to the Chief Executive and senior leadership team and also oversees general office management needs and administration processes for VSA’s Wellington office. This is a varied role, with lots of responsibility and opportunity to support VSA’s work.
The role also supports VSA’s Council (the governance board) acting as the secretariat through preparing for meetings, collating reports and meeting minute-taking. You will be instrumental in organising VSA’s AGM and Council Elections. You will also help support coordinating other VSA run events.
Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako – Essential skills/experiences for the role
This role will require maturity to work alongside senior leaders, a pro-active ‘can do, will do attitude’, and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of this role. You will need to have a strong sense of confidentiality and reliability. Experience supporting a governance board is desirable but not essential.
As our Executive Coordinator you will ideally have:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Senior Administration or EA level position; and ideally experience working to support senior leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience with writing and editing reports.
- Excellent relationship management skills

This role is Wellington-based, with starting salary is between $62,500 – $73,500 depending on skill and experience.
