Job Description

Cultivate is looking for some new Directors!
Cultivate has had to say goodbye to two directors over the past year and are looking for new people to support our core mahi and the exciting new developments.

Cultivate Christchurch is an award winning social enterprise that runs Urban Farms as spaces for youth employment and supporting healthy outcomes for young people and the community. Cultivate sell produce to local residents, restaurants and Cafes where we are currently working to open a market in the Riverside Farmers Market. This would enable Cultivate to be more financially sustainable and potential for scaling our social impact. Given the growth and expansion we require Board members who are passionate about food resilience, positive youth development and supporting this social enterprise to thrive.
We are looking for people who are able to take a hands on approach.

Particular areas we are looking for in new directors include;
Board Chair with significant company governance and experience in organisations with rapid growth;
Health & Safety;
Legal;
Retail (ideally food & beverage);
Business expertise;
Culture and People (typically known as Human Resources)

Expectations of Cultivate Directors.
Monthly Meetings 5-7pm and sometimes more regularly when needed.
