Casual Dignity Marketing and Communications Manager
Casual/Part-Time 2-5 hours per week
Dignity is a movement.
A movement of fairness, opportunity and compassion.
Fairness for women. Opportunity for girls. And compassion for those struggling to overcome the effects of social inequalities.
The Dignity movement uses strategy, resilience and ethical practices to create an inclusive and hopeful future that unites businesses, community groups and individuals who care want to make a difference.
Dignity was a passion project for co-founders Jacinta and Miranda but after rapid growth in 2017 we need to expand our team.
Dignity started at the beginning of 2017 in order to help females in New Zealand have access to sanitary items in work and at school. Dignity runs as a ‘buy one, give one’ initiative, where companies partner with Dignity to provide sanitary items to their staff and local students who are lacking access to pads and tampons, causing them to miss out on education.
Dignity’s customers include ANZ, Cigna, Xero, Akina and Flick Electric. By partnering with us, these companies are supporting their female employees and 6000 high school students across 33 New Zealand schools access sanitary items.
The Dignity team is made up of full-time young professionals who work part time to run and operate the initiative across New Zealand. We offer our team free sanitary items, Living Wage, flexible hours and purposeful work.
We are a fast growing, high impact, serious social enterprise.
