Part-Time Coordinator (Projects and Administration)
Are you looking for an opportunity to coordinate the work of a strategic Christian national membership organisation?
The Christian Medical Fellowship of New Zealand Incorporated (CMFnz) is looking for a Coordinator with management and administration experience, passion, creativity and excellent communication skills to coordinate the activities of CMFnz. This will involve working closely with our Medical Lead, Medical Advisers, Board and other key stakeholders to implement our annual plans, with the help of a contracted administration service provider for particular tasks. The role will have responsibility for a wide range of functions and activities as specified below. In particular, the Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with a nationwide network of doctors and medical students, arranging and coordinating events including an annual conference, and ensuring good process with administrative and finance matters relating to the organisation.
We do not currently have a physical office and our board members live in different centres in New Zealand. The job is part time, working from home from 10 up to 16 hours per week (time to be agreed), and we are open to applications from around the country. Some evening meetings and national travel will be expected.

We support doctors and medical students in expressing their faith through their study and clinical work and provide a Christian voice within the medical profession of New Zealand. CMFnz has an elected governing board, contracts an administration services provider and others in voluntary roles, in order to connect with our members and the medical profession, and focus on the interface between faith and medicine.
