The Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ) is the professional body that represents fundraising in New Zealand. He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

There is a real opportunity here to make this role your own. We are looking for an admin superstar who is highly organised, has strong attention to detail and knows what it takes to keep multiple balls in the air. You will be working in a fun and fast paced organisation alongside a small but extremely dedicated and inspiring team.

Your tasks will include:

  • Answering phones
  • Preparing documentation in Word and Excel
  • Managing CRM database – Create and update new and existing member details within internal systems
  • Organise travel bookings and accommodation when necessary
  • Manage credit card reconciliation, organising expense claims for approval and other accounts support where needed
  • Assist in organising events or newsletters when required
  • Other administrative duties as they arise

He kōrero mōu: About you 

  • Office administration experience (preferred but not required)
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft products
  • Excellent level of communication and organisational skills
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • An ability to think creatively, problem solve and ask questions
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office, Xero and willingness to learn other necessary platforms
  • Basic accounting and numeracy skills
  • A people person who is flexible and happy to help
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples’ culture
