Full-Time Accounting Clerk
Commonsense consists of 4 busy and thriving organic stores in the Wellington region & 2 in Auckland. We cater for people buying organic food, allergy-free food and environmentally friendly products.
This role is between 30 – 40 hours per week. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts and administration position. You will provide support to the Accounts Manager and have a range of skills in the following areas:
- Accounts payable and receivable;
- payment of wages;
- general ledger and bank reconciliations;
- preparation of monthly financial statements;
- payment of GST and other tax;
- cash control and accurate recording of accounts in stores;
- management of debtors;
- general office duties.
You will have knowledge and experience of the MYOB accounting system and preferably IMS Payroll. You will show good attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, plan and schedule work flow effectively. An interest and understanding of organics would be an asset and so would a good sense of humour. You will be an effective team player with experience in supporting other members of a close-knit team.
