Recruit right with Do Good Jobs - key features to help your recruitment

Recruit right with Do Good Jobs

At Do Good Jobs, our mission is to help organisations and people in the for-purpose world connect and amplify their impact.

And we’re all about making it simpler to connect with the people you need for your organisation. With that in mind, we’ve revamped our website to better serve our for-purpose community.

Here’s a quick overview of the best features for organisations looking to recruit.

Showcase your organisation with its own profile

Your organisation profile is a brief description of what your organisation does and its values. It lets jobseekers know more about your organisation and its work so they can see if they’d be a good fit. When you sign up with an employer account  you'll be prompted to fill out your profile. You can add as much detail as you want and include an image or your organisation’s logo. When you list a job, your organisation profile will appear on our organisation page here. Jobseekers will also be able to set up custom job alerts for any future listings you have.

Find great candidates with a CV Search

Get a head start on your recruitment by searching the available CVs on our site. Once you've set up an employer account, you can search resumes using categories or locations or by keywords for more specific searches. Once you’ve set up a CV search you can request any matching CVs be sent to you via email, helping you to reach out to any potential good fits for your role.

Search resumes here.

Tip: check back soon as more jobseekers will be registering on the new site and submitting their fresh CVs!

Narrow your candidate search to get applicants that are fit for purpose

People searching on Do Good Jobs are driven to better themselves as well as the world. They get what you do and why. What more could you ask for?

When you list a role, you can select a range of criteria, including:

  • Job category

  • Job type (full-time, part-time, casual etc)

  • Location (including remote and hybrid jobs)

You can also categorise your role according to one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Not sure what a Sustainable Development Goal is? Here’s a quick rundown….

Sustainable Development Goals were developed when the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted by UN members back in 2015. They are 17 goals which aim to create a better world by improving access to clean water, food, health care and education, ending poverty and reducing inequality. They also aim to promote sustainable growth in business and infrastructure. You can read more about SDGs here.

Our jobseekers can use all these criteria when they are searching for roles, so using them wisely helps you to get candidates who more closely match your perfect recruit.
