At Do Good Jobs we’re all about making it easier for people and organisations in the for-purpose space to connect and do good.
With that in mind, the Do Good Jobs website has undergone a glow-up in 2023. We’ve revamped our website giving it a new look and some new features to make your for-purpose job search even easier.
In this blog, we thought we’d give you a quick tour of our best features to help you make the most of your job search.
Narrow your job search with criteria
If you are looking for work in a particular place or niche then our job search criteria will help you refine your search to drill down to the best jobs for you.
You can search by:
Job category
Job type (full-time, part-time, voluntary, casual etc)
Location (including a new feature for remote and hybrid jobs)
A new feature to our job search is filtering by Cause based on Sustainable Development Goals.
By using our SDGs search filter you can more easily see jobs that align to your values.
Not sure what Sustainable Development Goals are? Here’s a quick primer….
Sustainable Development Goals came out of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which was adopted by UN members in 2015. At its core are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which aim to improve access to food, clean water, health services and education, end poverty and reduce inequality across the world as well as promoting sustainable economic growth, and building and infrastructure development. Set up a custom job alert
Want the freshest for-purpose jobs sent straight to your inbox? Once you’ve narrowed the search criteria to fit the type of job you are looking for, simply fill in your email to set up an alert based on your choices. Then whenever a new job is listed that matches, we’ll send you an email so you can be one of the first to know about it. You can also sign up for our regular weekly job update which lists all new jobs posted that week.
Upload your CV
Once you’ve set up your account, you can create a CV so all your details are ready and waiting when you want to submit an application. If you tick the box to let employers find it, then potential employers have easy access to your CV and you’ll show up if they search for candidates as part of their recruitment process.
