Strathmore Park Community Centre

Not For Profit

About Us

From early 2017, the Strathmore Park Community Centre (SPCC) has been operated by the Strathmore Park Community Centre Trust (SPCCT). From September 2017 the Raukawa Street Community Centre has also been operated by the SPCCT for the community of Strathmore Park and beyond.

The SPCC has a long history of being a thriving hub of activity and a place in which the community can come together and the Raukawa centre is still establishing itself in the Community. A trust established under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, the SPCCT is managing both community facilities while it also works on its long term strategic vision for community development in Strathmore Park.

The general purposes of the SPCCT are:
 To encourage and facilitate connections and collaborations between individuals and organisations to support the delivery of positive outcomes for the Strathmore Park community;
 To provide and facilitate activities that promote social, economic, cultural, health and wellbeing outcomes for the Strathmore Park community;
 To operate facilities that provide accessible services and activities for the Strathmore Park community; and;
 To promote the collection and distribution of information locally and throughout the wider Wellington community to support and promote the Strathmore Park community.
