AphasiaNZ provides support services, resources, information, and education to people with and affected by aphasia due to stroke, brain injury, brain tumour and brain disease.
Aphasia is a language disorder more common than Parkinson’s disease, Cerebral Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy. Aphasia affects a person’s use of language – finding words and holding conversations, understanding spoken language, reading and writing.
