We’re looking for an experienced digital communications professional who is confident across a range of digital channels and passionate about seeking out new opportunities to engage with members to promote our organisational goals. We are developing a new website to better reflects NZEI Te Riu Roa’s refreshed brand, commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and meets the needs of our audiences (primarily current members and new members).
This means we have an exciting, full time, six-month fixed term opportunity for a digital dynamo to support our transition to a new website and manage our campaign related social media channels for this period.
You will have a flair for social media and experience producing high quality content online. You know how to develop effective strategies to increase and monitor online engagement and you enjoy working in a team environment. You will be an experienced user of a range of content management systems and social media platforms and have a solid understanding of the technical, analytics and usability improvement tools associated with digital products.
A passion for plain English and producing accessible web content is essential in this role. Experience in producing content in Te Reo Māori or Te Reo fluency would be advantageous.
