Voluntary Volunteer Positions (Accountant/Bookkeeper, Digital Content Creator/editor, Communications and Engagement Star)
Our mission at TEDxAuckland is to celebrate new ideas, innovation and diversity with a global audience, aiming to inspire individuals and communities to create a positive impact.
We are entirely volunteer run and have some positions available in our fast-paced, creative team.
We are looking for:
1 x Accountant/Bookkeeper
1 x Digital Content Creator/editor
1 x Communications and Engagement star
Help us keep the wheels spinning! We need an accountant/bookkeeper who can assist with our event budgeting, and yearly planning. This is a great opportunity to get behind-the-scenes and make a real impact internally at TEDx.
Do you have awesome editing and digital content creation skills and a passion for community and new ideas? We need help with with post-production (photo/video editing) for our globally loved TEDx talks, You’ll need specific skills in Adobe Lightroom and/or Davinci Resolve..
Are you a passionate Communications and Engagement star who can join our volunteer team and get our community excited about our upcoming events? We’re looking for a word-nerd who can manage our social media communications, interview past and present speakers and help us craft engaging copy.
These are the main skills that we are looking for right now, but we are always keen to hear from passionate, capable people too!
If you’re keen to be part of a great team and to contribute to a culture that celebrates new ideas we’d love to hear from you.
Extra love if you have experienced a TEDx event in the past (either attending or volunteering)
We’ll need you for 5-10 hours a week, with extra hours in the lead up to events.
