Overseas Teaching Practice Mentor (Primary School) – Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea has placed greater emphasis on education in recent years, with more schools opening and fees reduced. However, the country still faces significant challenges with many students leaving school with poor literacy and numeracy skills. Some of the contributing factors include ineffective teaching practices, poor understanding and application of the curriculum, poor school leadership, and inadequate resources. In response to this the Papua New Guinea Government has made education one of its top priorities.

The Division of Education is committed to raising the standard of teaching and leadership practices across schools.
The ideal candidate will have significant teaching experience in primary education.
