Role: Systems Change Activator /Innovator

• Auckland central based
• Full time senior role (One year contract)
• Lead sustainable, innovative change

• Build broad networks across community, government and businesses

We need a change.

The barriers newcomers (migrants and refugees) face as they try to build new lives in New Zealand are prevalent and this role will be all about addressing them. The role will be leading new innovative solutions, collaborating and building valuable relationships with community, public and private sectors to champion systems change.

The role works within complexity and will have an overview of what’s happening in Auckland’s resettled and migrant communities in order to identify and leverage opportunities for large scale changes. Relationship building and management with multiple stakeholders will be a key part of this role, to enhance collaboration, partnerships and facilitate systems change in benefit to our diverse population in Auckland.

The role is perfect for someone who is passionate about social justice, equality and empowering ethnic and newcomer communities, and has the strategic thinking, skills, experience and networks to bring to life creative solutions that work towards our vision of ‘An inclusive, connected New Zealand where newcomer communities are able to enjoy and contribute towards our collective wellbeing and prosperity.
