Full-Time Supporter Care Assistant
The Blind Foundation is New Zealand’s leading charity for people who are blind or have low vision.
Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, this role is the first point of contact for donors who call the Blind Foundation. You will build loyalty and strong relationships, while also helping to deliver long term giving and engagement through excellent donor care.
Key responsibilities include:
• Inbound and outbound calls with donor and supporters
• Written communications
• Social media
• Relationship building
• Supporter database
• Staying up to date with the work of the Blind Foundation and issues related to the cause
Experience in customer service or face to face fundraising, proven communication skills and a high-degree of empathy are required. You will need to be a warm and friendly people-person, eager to make connections with Blind Foundation’s new and existing donors.
This role is a full time role, based in Parnell, Auckland, with a salary range of $40k – $50k
