Join our Product Team

We are looking for a NZ-based Senior Product Manager to join our growing Product Team. We’re looking for a candidate with a few years of experience in Product who is able to create and lead successful Product strategies in the team, as well as make the right decisions for Cogo’s internal data systems. Our ideal candidate should be able to design and prioritise the products that will drive us towards our impact goals.

Role Requirements

  • You’re responsible for crafting a workplace where we can deliver the following outcomes:
    • Cogo staff who work with emissions factors, categorisation, and climate actions excel at their roles in part because their internal data products operate efficiently and effectively to meet their needs. You shape the feature set and capabilities of these products to meet evolving internal requirements, mediate where internal requirements differ between departments, and manage the product development roadmap.
    • Cogo data scientists excel at their roles in part because the analytics systems operate efficiently and effectively to meet their needs. You shape the feature set and capabilities of the analytics data models and semantic layer to meet evolving internal requirements.
    • Data is gathered and stored in line with best practice with clear understanding of our obligations around the use of the data.
    • Data systems that impact Cogo’s customers are designed and implemented in a way that makes them highly valuable for our strategic markets.  We know they’re valuable because you deeply understand and articulate our customers’ current and future needs.
    • Cogo consistently validates and prioritises our data systems’ development in alignment with our company strategic goals and product priorities. It’s clear to everyone that your validation and prioritisation is objective and evidence-based.
    • Everyone who works at Cogo continually has a clear understanding, appropriate to their position in the company, of what’s coming up in the next year in your product space, and what it means for them, the customers they work with, and our larger product offering.
    • The Cogo Product Team is strong and cohesive.  Cooperating, sharing, and always striving to learn and improve their practices, the team does their part to drive all of Cogo forwards towards our vision.
