We are looking for a Regional Grants Specialist, who will be based in a main centre in the South Island and will be responsible for seeking grants for Plunket’s Southern Region.
Our ideal applicant will feel passionate about our Plunket brand and is able to establish and build on existing relationships, can identify and implement funding opportunities, and is skilled at crafting story-led grant applications. To be successful, you will be an experienced grant writer who enjoys creating connections and rapport with funders as well as internal teams. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing Plunket’s grant revenue streams.
To be successful you will need to have:
– Excellent written communication and presentation skills
– A successful track record in grant writing and end-to-end grant management
– Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to achieve positive outcomes
– Ability to plan and develop grant plans in alignment with Regional business plans
– Strong organisational and time management skills
– Ability to travel when required
