Part-Time Planned Giving Executive

Waipuna Hospice –  Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Marketing and Fundraising Team for 20 hours per week. As a member of our Marketing and Fundraising team, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and manage a planned giving programme which includes a membership programme regular giving and bequest programme.

About Us

Waipuna Hospice is the sole provider of specialist community palliative care in the rapidly growing Western Bay of Plenty and as well as having an established inpatient unit we support a large community team and a number of Charity retail stores.

About You
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in fundraising and/or experience in a donor relations and membership related role with a degree in a relevant field. You will have a demonstrated ability to plan, organise and manage a relationship-based program. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate experience in public speaking. You will thrive in a fast paced work environment, be able to juggle multiple tasks and have strong administrative and organisational skills. You will be IT-savvy, have experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Application suite and have experience in working with a donor database.
