Full-Time Operations Manager

Job Description

RainbowYOUTH is looking for an Operations Manager to look after the the day to day operational and financial management of the organisation, as well as the strategic development of the staff team alongside the Executive Director and Executive Board.
Key objectives of your role will include:

Fulfilling RainbowYOUTH’s strategic direction

Ensuring responsiveness and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Maintaining the financial sustainability of the organisation

Driving the ongoing improvement of the organisation and our people management systems

Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
There is currently one staff member that will report directly to the Operations Manager, and this role might involve some domestic travel.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way

Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant

Formulate strategic and operational objectives

Recruit, train and supervise staff

Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
