Full-Time Operations Manager
This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced internal manager who has a passion for people, teams and systems. The role will help Glen Innes Family Centre (GIFC) to manage the delivery of its services and compliance requirements.The organisation is at a key point in its journey, with growth in demand for its services, growth in team members and expansion into social enterprise initiatives. They need a manager to lead change within the organisation to support this growth, now and for the future.
On a day to day basis, you will work closely with GIFC team members, the Trust Board and the existing Director Community and Social Partnerships. You will quickly grasp a broad overview of the GIFC operation, and then work to improve the internal systems and planning processes that the organisation depends on. Staff oversight and development will fall within your remit, along with the contracts and other income that provide the resource to deliver services.
Building in user feedback to the way GIFC works, you will develop a focus on quality within GIFC. Compliance, health and safety, and evaluation of service performance will be areas you are excited to stamp your mark on.
As the ideal candidate you will be able to prioritise improving peoples well-being alongside business requirements, be process oriented, be outcomes focused, have a relational approach to the management of staff and stakeholders, and enjoy a challenge. You will have a can-do attitude, be self motivated, have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic about working alongside the Trust Board and Director Community and Social Partnerships to help GIFC achieve its full potential!
Position: Operations Manager
Reports to: GIFC Trust Board
Hours: 40 per week/full time
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum
Period: 18 months fixed term
