Office Manager, Government Superannuitants Association
Part-time administration role with the Government Superannuitants Association (GSA). The GSA is a membership organisation currently with 25,500 members and 19 branches around the country, comprising annuitants and contributors who in the past joined the Government Superannuation Fund Scheme (GSF) or the National Provident Fund (NPF) defined benefit schemes. The Association exists to safeguard the provision of these Schemes. National Office works closely with the Branches and provides support to members as required.
The Office Manager role is 20 hours a week with office hours 8.30 to 12.30 Monday to Friday. There is also a 20 hour a week National Executive Officer. The two people work closely together as a team, and the team is further enhanced by sharing an office with the Wellington GSA Branch secretary. This position will suit you if you have good communication, accounts experience (we use MYOB), database experience (we have a membership database maintained by the Office Manager), and up to date administration skills. Previous experience with a membership organisation would be beneficial but not essential.
The salary given in the advertisement is the annual full-time salary, which is pro-rated to half-time.
