Part-Time Marketing and Programme Evaluations Coordinator

Te Whakaora Tangata is a faith-based not-for-profit serving the community in South Auckland, and more recently, the Far North. To successfully apply for this role:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing and fundraising role with demonstrated success, and a graduate degree in a related field is desirable. Excellent IT skills, including very good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Apple MacBooks and iPhones are necessary. Salesforce CRM experience preferred. The ability to understand basic financial statements and budgets is also required as well as good analytical skills.

About the Role:

This role requires a deep commitment to the work, mission, and values of Te Whakaora Tangata.  As a member of the Funding & Communications department, the Marketing Programmes and Evaluations Coordinator will work closely with the Community Partnerships Manager on fundraising, communications, and evaluations activities to creatively tell the stories of the families we work with and secure funding to continue our work in the community.  As an outstanding organiser and communicator, you will develop and deliver timely, relevant, innovative, and targeted marketing strategies and campaigns, coordinate the production of photos, videos, social media posts across multiple platforms, design and contribute to publications that increase Te Whakaora’s visibility and brand awareness, create, facilitate and manage marketing for events and initiatives, coordinate ongoing budgets for marketing and promotional activities, have a keen eye for design and detail, and ensure consistency across marketing collateral.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating marketing functions, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Writing targeted content for website, funding proposals, company brochures, promotional material, emails to donors, and social media channels.
  • Coordinating the development and distribution of marketing and promotional material.
  • Coordinating the creation of video resources and content for programmes.
  • Fundraising plan and budget, including analysis and reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining a donor journey strategy with clear paths for acquisition and retention.
  • Work with and grow the existing individual giving program (monthly donations) that includes DM and eDM’s.
  • Developing and implementing Fundraising campaigns. 
  • Keeping database records updated and analysing client and programme data to support fundraising activities.

This is a permanent full-time position (30 to 40 hours per week)
