Part-Time Manager for Tauiwi Caucus

TOAH-NNEST, Te Ohaakii a Hine – National Network Ending Sexual Violence Together, is a nation-wide network committed to ending sexual violence in our communities. It consists of two ‘whare’, Ngã Kaitiaki Mauri (tikanga Mãori) and Tauiwi Caucus, reflecting the relationship envisioned in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The Tauiwi Caucus of TOAH-NNEST is seeking someone extraordinary to be the Manager for our Tauiwi Caucus. Based at our National Office in Wellington, you will be the face of TOAH-NNEST Tauiwi Caucus. You will spread your time between ensuring that we meet the goals outlined in our strategic plan, managing other Tauiwi Caucus employees, analysing social policy, advocating at a ministerial level, networking and relationship building, visiting members, preparing financial information and accountability reports, and arranging executive committee meetings. Your hours of work will be flexible to meet the demands of the role, but will normally be 28-35 hours per week, between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be based at our National Office in Wellington, but will also travel throughout New Zealand on occasions to meet with members, network in the community, and attend meetings as required.
