Part-Time Individual Giving Officer
Garden to Table is changing the way kids think about food. All over the country, we want to see children in the kitchen and garden, getting their hands dirty and growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh, nourishing food.
Garden to Table is a small but rapidly-growing national charity that delivers a big impact for 10,500 students each year. We’re looking for a hands-on donor development specialist to join our Auckland-based team who understands the changing donor landscape, and what that entails. You’ll be able to develop and implement an individual giving strategy that delivers some quick wins and long-term growth potential.
Your significant experience in donor acquisition and retention, donor advocacy, insights and stewardship will be highly valued. You’ll be solely responsible for establishing an exciting, positive, individual giving programme, that engages New Zealanders and helps to create nationwide advocates and supporters.
This role will suit someone who is looking for a part-time role, works well as part of a team, but is also a proactive self-starter. We’re a small, fun team that punches above its weight, so you’ll need to know your stuff, and be happy to be results-focused. You’ll need to be able to create and implement compelling campaigns on a shoestring, and experience in donor management software is required.
If you’d like to know more about Garden to Table please visit our website at www.gardentotable.org.nz; our facebook page (@garden2table) or our Instagram account (@gardentotablenz).
The role is based in our Auckland office in Parnell, and is for 12-15 hours per week initially (negotiable).
