Voluntary ENTHUSIASTIC CAMPAIGNER

Are you passionate about behavioral change – enviro’ or health areas??
Want to be part of a world wide campaign that’s in its infancy in Aotearoa?

RefillNZ – is a NFP campaign that aims to prevent plastic pollution at source by making it easier to reuse and refill water on the go, rather than buy drink in a single-use disposable plastic bottle.

We started in Welly in Oct 2018 and now have grown quite quickly – within the Wgtn region & throughout NZ.

We collaborate with other Refills around the world and in NZ – with Waste Minimization people in councils as well as people in the health sector to Help Make Tap Water the Drink of Choice.

I now need help to get more local cafes, bars council facilities on board – we aim to get another 200 cafes on board in the region next 6 months (!!!!)
You will be visiting cafes primarily in Wellington central but will need to go out to Johnsonville, Tawa, Porirua and possibly Lower Hutt , encouraging them to participate as part of this campaign.
There is a small amount of compensation paid per amount of cafes signed up.
Key attributes, expertise

Well organized
Able to get out and about to engage with cafes, bars, in the region,particularly CBD, Northern / Western subs, Porirua and maybe Hutt.
Have initiative and common sense
Able to commit to a specific number of cafes, bars signed up in a week.
Good with a mobile camera – able to take great engaging photos!!!
Happy using spread sheets
Collaborate with local councils, health organisations, local community groups, eg Greens, Healthy Futures
Having a bike would be seriously useful (any reasonable public transport expenses, eg to get to the Hutt, Porirua, would be covered)
