Part-Time Digital Marketing Coordinator
Habitat for Humanity is a global housing charity with 25 years history assisting families in New Zealand into home ownership. Habitat is also a disaster responder with experience working after cyclones in Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, and Vanuatu as well as earthquakes in Nepal and Indonesia.
Habitat’s mission brings people together to build homes, community, and hope – we’ve built 500 homes with families in New Zealand, and are currently working with hundreds of families across the Pacific to prepare for future disasters in Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.
Joining Habitat for Humanity:
– makes you part of a socially minded, values driven team which believes everyone
deserves a decent place to live
– is an exciting, dynamic experience chance to work with our team in NZ and developing countries, including during a disaster
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for Habitat’s online fundraising programme. You’d be part of a small team running appeals to support Habitat’s work, including disaster response and preparedness in the Pacific and Asia.
You’ll be working with our team to pull together compelling stories about Habitat’s work and writing these in a way that compels our supporters to give. This means you’d be the main person designing and crafting campaigns:
-on our website
-other places online
(and we’d be looking to you for ways to make these even more effective!)
This role will also assist with other fundraising as part of the National Campaigns Team and is the go to support person for digital systems support.
We are hiring for someone to work between 20-32 hours, depending on the skills and availability of the candidate.
Why is this for you?
If you feel confident:
-planning a digital marketing campaign to raise funds
-writing copy for an audience which tells the incredible story of our work
-using digital tools like Salesforce, Mailchimp, facebook advertising
problem solving alone and with others
Then we’d welcome you as part of our team!
