Voluntary Cycle-Powered Cinema volunteers

Job Description

EcoWest Festival is a month-long festival in West Auckland celebrating our unique environment and sustainable living. With more than 120 events in six event categories, there’s something on offer for everyone!

Saturday 16 March, 6-9pm, 1909-1949 Great North Road, Avondale Shops

Bike-bling is on its way to Avondale, along with live music, food trucks and bike-powered screenings of locally-made short films. Also featuring DJ Linda T and Vospertron Performance Group. Watch artists Emma Olphert and Eva Fuemana complete a stunning new mural onsite. BYO mug for a free hot chocolate and try an e-bike courtesy of Big Street Bikers.

We need up to 20 volunteers to help make Cycle-Powered Cinema happen! Can you lend a hand during one of these two shifts?

12-3pm: Site prep and set up
5-9.30pm: Event and pack down

Monday 11 March 10am-2pm
Avondale (please RSVP for exact address)

We’ve got a test run scheduled for the Cycle-Powered Cinema on Monday morning March 11 and we need six bike riders to help us get it pumping! Can you help? We’ll be taking photos and video at this test run for publicity purposes. Please email [email protected] to sign up or for more info.
