We’re poised to take Thankyou Payroll on renewed growth trajectory and are looking for a dynamic and engaged Customer Lead to help us and our customers on our journey.
About the opportunity
Reporting directly into the CEO, your job as the Customer Lead is to design and implement the strategic framework required to enhance and diversify our client base and rationalise the changes needed to keep us at the leading edge of our industry. Thankyou Payroll’s mission, vision and growth strategy ensure our team are empowered to be all that they can be. A key element in this role is working with your team to ensure that Thankyou Payroll remains relevant, profitable, purposeful and our customer satisfaction continues to grow. Your key accountabilities will be to:
-With the CEO, and wider Senior Leadership Team strategise the directives that will further enhance growth and customer satisfaction
-Conceptualise and articulate marketing and business development opportunities in new and existing markets
-Analyse, evaluate and recommend product initiatives that further optimise customer success
-Obtain feedback on existing products and work through enhancements and efficiencies where appropriate with the technical team
-Advocate for and champion the voice of all our customers
-Oversee development and delivery of marketing communications to champion the Thankyou Payroll brand
-Establish strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
-Engage your team to be forward thinking and innovative in all aspects of customer service
-Be an evangelist for keeping up to date on emerging trends to further develop the customers journey with Thankyou Payroll

We’re looking for an experienced Customer Lead who will bring an intentional and strategic approach to this team. With your business development expertise, highly regarded customer service ethic and purposeful orientation, you will have a collaborative, driven and engaging personality. In addition, you will empower your team to thrive in an environment where success is celebrated, barriers are broken down, and excellence in service is always paramount, but just as importantly, you’ll care as much about social good as we do. Our ideal candidate will offer:
-Previous staff management experience in a Customer Lead, Service or Business Development environment (ideally from a SAAS culture)
-Expertise in analytics, research and problem solving
-A decisive, pragmatic and outcome orientated approach
-Excellence in customer retention and strategic growth implementation
-Marketing, communications and brand management experience
-Second to none communication skills on all fronts with strong networking capabilities
-Experience in developing cultural competence and an understanding of te tiriti o Waitangi
