Part-Time After School Care Assistant Manager
Karori West OSCAR is an after school care and holiday programme located in Karori West Normal School. We’re currently looking for an assistant manager whose role is to support the OSCAR manager with administration tasks and to provide consistent leadership to ensure OSCAR’s best practices are followed at all times. If you have experience working with children aged 5 to 12 years and great administrative and leadership skills, we would love to hear from you!
The role involves:
> Supervising children & being a role model
> Coordinating daily session e.g. conflict management, leading staff, etc.
> Planning and implementing activities e.g. team games, crafts, baking, challenges etc.
> Completing administration tasks e.g. rostering, memberships, rolls, waiting list, etc
> Maintaining and improving health and safety procedures
> Running holiday programme days (including trip days)
Work hours and commitment:
> During school term: Monday to Friday, between core hours of 2.30 and 5.45pm
> During school holidays: Monday to Friday, between 7.45am and 5.45pm
> Between 13 and 20 hours a week (negotiable)
