GirlGuiding New Zealand has recently rolled out a new Adaptable Programme aimed at reaching more girls in our community and providing them with unforgettable experiences. To date this program has been a success and we are hoping it continues to grow!

We are currently seeking friendly, outgoing and self-motivated individuals to be Adaptable Programme Activity Coordinators.

Responsibilities include:

• Running amazing events and adventures for girls within our communities
• Leading and providing mentorship and support to casual volunteers during events
• Working closely with the Community Programme Facilitator to ensure the smooth running of the events and activities
• Ensuring girl safety and satisfaction during events

Our events and adventures run most weekends and during the school holidays. We ask that you are available to work at least 1 Saturday every month and that you take an active role in assisting with the events.

If you love mentoring others, running camps and events and girl empowerment initiatives this is the role for you! We are looking for an energetic leader who loves adventure and has experience working with kids. Experience leading groups is also a plus!

*Must be over 18 and hold a valid driver’s license.
