I’m passing on the Do Good Jobs baton

Twelve years ago, I started Do Good Jobs as a passion project with a clear vision to create a job board for ethical mahi in Aotearoa, linking purpose-driven individuals with vacancies at do-good organisations. After seven years as a one-woman business and another five working with a fabulous team to help me grow Do Good Jobs, the time has come for me to pass the baton to someone new.

I’ve spent 12 incredible years with Do Good Jobs and remain committed to the kaupapa of the business. But in recent years, I’ve become more and more passionate about developing courses and coaching to support for-purpose leaders, and this is where I now want to focus my time – alongside spending more time with my daughter.

For the past few months, I’ve been on a journey to find new owners for Do Good Jobs - people who share the same deep-rooted values and unwavering commitment to supporting purpose-driven people and causes. I’m excited to say that in David Morrison and Corey Jarrett, I have found those people. David and Corey will take ownership of Do Good Jobs on 1st August 2023.

David and Corey are passionate advocates for social change, and I have no doubt that they will lead Do Good Jobs into a future filled with even greater impact.

The fabulous Do Good Jobs team - Amy, Renee and Arwen - will still be here to help jobseekers and employers amplify their impact and do more good. And I know that with them, along with David and Corey, I leave the business in good hands.

Although I’m excited about my next steps, leaving Do Good Jobs is bittersweet for me after this 12-year journey and being part of this great and growing community. I want to express my deepest appreciation to all of you, our incredible community of purpose-driven individuals and organisations. It is your support, dedication, and commitment to making the world a better place that has fueled the success of Do Good Jobs over the years.

Next week I will share more about my next steps and how you can keep in touch! Keep your eyes peeled!
